Flow & Flourish:
Organized a day of hydrotherapy and water sports for children who had lacked access to water for a year. The event included boat rides, bikes, go-karting, amusement park visits, and water sports. As the event coincided with Jumuah, mothers and children were reminded of their Islamic identity, encouraged to perform Salah, and to be grateful for Allah’s blessings, while also remembering those suffering in Gaza. Full details available on our social media accounts.
• Established a funding team
• Weekly online feedback sessions continued since July
• Training for volunteers
• Personal home visits resumed
•IT Varsity collaboration and entrepreneurship programme design.
Cancer Awareness Month: Our plan is to extend support not only to cancer patients in South Africa, as we traditionally do, but also to Palestinian and Egyptian cancer patients in Cairo. Additionally, we aim to launch our "cancer comfort care" packs, which will offer financial empowerment opportunities for Palestinian sisters by compensating them for creating items for these packs.

Tap water in Cairo is unsafe for drinking due to contamination with pollutants and bacteria, posing significant health risks to anyone who consumes it. This issue is particularly concerning for vulnerable populations, including Palestinian refugees and students who depend on safe, clean water to maintain their health and focus on their studies.
Our "Quench the Thirst of Seekers of Knowledge" project specifically targets students in Cairo and Palestinian refugees. For these students, access to safe drinking water is often a daily challenge, impacting their ability to concentrate, study, and stay healthy. By providing clean, purified water, our project helps alleviate one of the most basic yet crucial needs, allowing students to stay hydrated and focus on their education without worrying about the dangers of contaminated water. This initiative not only supports their academic goals but also upholds their dignity, enabling them to continue seeking knowledge with a clear mind and a strong body, Insha-Allah.
